Ksira Gelato

Our line of gelato inspired by Sri Lankan flavours.

The Ksira name comes from the ancient Bhagavata Purana Hindu text. We were inspired from it’s backstory about an ocean of milk, which was churned by the Gods in an attempt to destroy demons. Ksira Sagara was the name of the ocean of milk; Ksira means milk and Sagara means ocean.

The name resonated with us and we decided to name our brand of gelato with this name a product fit for the Gods!
